I met Lynne 40 years ago when I lived in La Jolla, California. I was impressed with Lynne’s work then, and the 40 years since are showing me a master artist.
I attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, and graduated with a degree in Fine Arts. I later studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York. My architect husband Elliot and I moved to California where I became a freelance Illustrator working for Fedmart, Ratner, Panniken, and Channel 8 as a courtroom Illustrator.
While raising a family, I participated in drawing and painting studios. Plein air painting became a passion in 2001, mainly with PAPASAN group painting in the desert and Laguna area sites in San Diego County.
I have exhibited in many events, galleries, and art exhibits including La Jolla Art Association, Laguna Plein air Painters, California Art Club, Crystal Cove Conservancy, Market Street Group, and American Impressionist Society.
Some of my work can be found in “The Land of Sunlight, a book of Southern California Plein air art.
I’ll be back next month with another artist.
Have a wonderful summer.
